Training Classes:
Puppy Socialization 101
Age: 8 - 16 weeks old
6 week session
This course will teach the puppy to be calm in a variety of future situations and to socialize with other dogs and people in a safe environment. This course will also provide the foundation for beginning obedience exercises and to teach humane and effective communication techniques with the canine companion. The evidence has shown that a puppy completing a socialization course at their critical period (7-16 weeks) significantly cuts down on possible future behavior problems. At the end of each class your puppy will get the opportunity to socialize with other puppies and humans to develop acceptable behaviors.

Beginners Obedience 102
5 months and older
6 week session
The dogs will be taught basic obedience commands such as sit, stay, down, stand for exam, come when called and walking on a leash. These classes will teach owners to have good control over their companions in a variety of situations and also address nuisance hehaviors and how to best deal with these prolems.
Safety Rules
Because we are committed to providing the safest possible environment for you and your dog, the following rules apply without exception:
All dogs must have proof of current vaccination including: Rabies, Distemper, Bordetella, and Negative Fecal Test Puppy can start training after 2nd Distemper vaccine given, 1st Bordetella, been Wormed, Negative Fecal Test
Dogs cannot be people aggressive or extremely dog aggressive (if the dog shows any of theses types of behaviors the client will be referred accordingly to a veterinary behavior specialist)
NO choke chains or pinch collars will be permitted in class
All dogs MUST enter our facility on a leash. No retractable leashes, PLEASE.
What to Bring
- Treats (pieces of the dog's kibble, treats must be small in size, pea sized ideally)
- Bag or fanny pack to hold the treats, or large enough pockets
- 6 foot nylon or leather leash with buckle collar (other humane control devices such as head harnesses will be permitten in Beginner Obedience class)
