Beata is one of the first people you see when you come to visit us and the last before you leave. Beata has been with Lake Street Animal Hospital for over 7 years and is very warm and welcoming! She has a love for people and pets. She is fluent in Polish and is a busy mother of 3. She shares her home with her 2 dogs, Bebe and Misia, Timmy her cat and lots of fish! When she has a free moment, she loves to sew.
Tiffany Anderson, Customer Service Specialist
Tiffany has always had a love for animals, but it wasn't until she got older that she finally got an opportunity to pursue her love of animals. During college, she volunteered at the local animal shelter during her free time. She also took in an cared for 3 animals, 2 rabbits (whose owner had to release them) and a stray cat that wandered into her apartment. Someday, she hopes to be able to own pets with special needs, but until then, she shares her bed with a cat named, Kitty Pig.
Brenna Gibson, Customer Service Specialist
I am a part of a family of 3. This includes my husband of many years, Charlie; and our daughter, Cassidy. We also have a very spunky, old calico named Reece and a 10 year old Rat Terrier named Duke. My family and I do many things with the Roselle community, including Park District Basketball and travel Softball. When we are not enjoying Roselle, you'll find us embarking on many outdoor activities. We love to camp, hike, fish, four-wheel and snowmobile. I am looking forward to a long career with Lake Street Animal Hospital as I love working with both pets and people.
Angel Hughes - Customer Service Specialist
Angel is 27 years old and is a mother to a beautiful 8 year old princess and is a future wife to an amazing man. Growing up she always wanted to work in a vets office or to become one. Animals are a passion of hers. She was lucky enough to grow up around dogs, cats and birds her entire life. Currently ,she is blessed with a fur baby of her own, a cat named Sasha. Her motto to live by is "Love all that you are and all that you do."
Jeannie Kryzwonos – Senior Customer Service Specialist
Jeannie started with Lake Street Animal Hospital in April 2012. She had worked for another hospital in Schiller Park before earning her degree in nursing. She has since retired. She has 2 children Andy (25) and Deanna (21). Her son is recently married and she is now looking forward to grand children. She has 2 chihuahua’s, Princess (5) and Prince (1.5). Her interests include spending time with her family and friends and she loves to travel.
Marta Lukowska - Customer Service Specialist
Marta began working at Lake Street Animal Hospital in April 2015. She has a dog named Yoggie who is a miniature pincher. She loves to try new things, spending time with her boyfriend and family. Also, in the summer she loves to Jet Ski.
Vicki has worked at Lake Street Animal Hospital since 1995. She started as a receptionist and worked her way up the ladder. She enjoys helping others and her love for animals is what started her in the veterinary field. She shares her home with 2 cats and a dog, Oliver the DSH, Shyla the Maine Coon, and Sully the Catahoula Leopard Dog mix. She enjoys spending time with her husband, Dave, and their 3 kids...Wyatt and the twins, Jackson and Sydney. Her other interests include camping, boating, and traveling to tropical places.

Rachael Montalbano - Certified Veterinary Technician
Rachael has been working with animals for six years. She started as a kennel attendant and receptionist, but desired to learn more about animals to help care for and attend to their medical needs. She graduated from Vet Tech Institute at Fox College with an associate degree in Applied Science of Veterinary Medical Technology in 2012. Rachael loves being proactive with client education, assisting in radiology, clinical laboratory testing and dentals. She currently has a cat named Mia and a rabbit named Boo-Sir-Hops-A-Lot. She hopes to someday soon be a fur parent to a sweet pug. In her free time she enjoys running, singing, concerts, cooking and attending pug fests.
Chris Mostaccio - Certified Veterinary Technician
Chris received her education from Parkland College in Champaign, IL and has been certified since 1982. Her passion is anesthesia and surgical support. She enjoys spending time and traveling with her husband Phil and dog, Molly.
Kelsey Stewart – CVT, Technician supervisor
Kelsey joined Lake Street Animal Hospital in October 2010 on a temporary basis. She was completing her externship program to receive her Associates Degree in Applied Science Veterinary Medical Technology from Vet Tech Institute at Fox College. After completing her 2 month externship, Kelsey became a full time staff member of the Lake Street Animal Hospital family. She enjoys radiology, dermatology and surgery. Although she does not currently have any pets, she looks forward to someday being the proud mom of a French bulldog.
Brandy Weik, Certified Veterinary Technician
Brandy grew up in Roselle and graduated from Lake Park High School. She always wanted to have a career in veterinary medicine ever since she could remember. She attended school at Joliet Junior College and earned Associate Degree in Applied Science Veterinary Medical Technology with honors. She has been happily working at Lake Street Animal Hospital for 6 years. Her special interests are dentistry, hematology, and pain management. In her free time she enjoys yoga and spending time with her husband and 3 dogs.
Lisa Burks – Veterinary Assistant
Lisa B. grew up in Roselle and graduated from Lake Park High School. She has been a veterinary assistant for 4 years. Lisa plans on continuing school to become a certified veterinary technician. She has 2 kitty, Missy & Moe and most importantly a beautiful toddler, Nora.
Melissa Martinez - Veterinary Assistant
Melissa joined the Lake Street Animal Hospital family in the summer of 2016. She went to COD to become a certified Vet Assistant in 2013. She has a dog (Chihuahua/Dachsund X) and a hamster.
She is the youngest of 4 and in her free time she likes to hang out with friends and listen to music. She is shy at first, but once you get to know her she won't stop talking. She is witty, down to earth and kind.
Sonia Gessner - Veterinary Assistant
Sonia has been working with animals for 8 years and can't imagine ever doing anything else. She became a certified dog trainer in 2014. In addition to making vet visits less stressful for patients, she has also worked with shelter dogs awaiting their forever homes. She hopes to one day open up a shelter of her own. In her free time, she enjoys being outdoors, photography and horseback riding. She has 2 pets, Rose, a cat and Piper, a lab mix.
Lisa Shader – Groomer
Lisa started with Lake Street Animal Hospital as a receptionist but has since transitioned into our full time groomer. She has been grooming for 13 years, but has been working with animals for 15 years. She has several animals at home including 3 cats, 2 dogs (a Mastiff and a Chinese Crested), 2 Axolotls and 1 saltwater fish tank. Her favorite dog to groom is a Standard Poodle.
Jen Crowley - Groomer
Jen grew up in Roselle and graduated from Lake Park High School. With her natural love for animals, it didn't take long for her to begin working as a groomer. 11 years later, she has joined the team at Lake Street Animal Hospital. Jen shares her home with 3 dogs (an English Pointer mix, a rescued Pit Bull and a Chihuahua) and a cat named Sam. She spends her free time cooking, baking and enjoying the outdoors. Jen truly enjoys grooming all breeds of dogs and cats, but her favorite breeds to groom are terriers and retrievers.
