Groomer
Molly Bina
Molly grew up in Naperville Illinois and is now living in Schaumburg. Her parents surprised her with a kitten when she was just three years old and from that moment on animals became the epicenter of her life.
Her professional animal journey began by volunteering at shelters at nine years old until she was old enough to get a job as a kennel technician at 16. In 2011, Molly was working as a bather while in college for business management and had the realization that nothing gave her greater joy then working with dogs every day. That same week she dropped out of college and enrolled in Petco’s Grooming Academy.
She loves grooming all breeds but spaniels hold a special place in her heart as her best friend is a King Charles Cavalier Spaniel named Tucker Jones. Molly is currently studying to become a certified Master Groomer through The National Dog Grooming Association of America. Her short term goal is to get involved in competition grooming through IPGA events. Her long term goal is working as dog show handler for spaniels. She certified with Pet First AID and CPR through Barkleigh’s Pet Professionals.
In her spare time she keeps busy tending to her 100+ houseplants, her two needy kitties and of course, Tucker. She also enjoys writing and is currently working on her second novel.
